Returns + Exchanges
If you for some reason want to return an item, please contact us beforehand so we can give you the best service possible.
We would like for you to check the items upon delivery, to make sure they are what you ordered. We are a talented and professional bunch here at The Happiness Detective, but we are only human, so sometimes we make mistakes. If you have any complaints, please contact us and let us know what is wrong.
You have 14 days after delivery to return your item. Please make sure that the product is in tip top shape, so we can pass it on to someone else. If you have been unlucky and ruined the item, we won't be able to take it back. Please fill in the enclosed return form, so we have all the details we need in order to help you.
We will gladly make a refund if everything is hunky dory. If you paid by invoice, we will need your bank details in order to transfer the money back to you. Please contact us, and we will let you know what we need.
Returning A Package
In order to avoid custom charges on a returned package sent internationally, please mark it “Returned Goods”. We can't be responsible for any custom charges made, and will have to pass those on to you.
Want to switch to another product?
Easy peasy! Just send us an e-mail telling us which product you want instead and return the product you have received.
If the product disappears én route to you, or is damaged when you receive it, please let us know so we can help you as best as possible.
If you for some reason don't pick your parcel up within the time allowed (typically 14 days), we will have to charge you a handling fee to cover the cost of return shipping or other freight costs.
