I'm gonna start a new movement:
"Hibernation Nation".
Or something like that (it is a working title so it might change before I launch).
But the idea is to start a movement where it is okay and accepted to hibernate for four months. I am thinking from early November to late February. Perhaps with a small stir around Christmas. And then the southern hemisphere can do the same over their winter. They look after things while we rest and vise versa. I can't see any flaws with this plan. Except perhaps for a few birthdays that would be missed, but everyone affected could just have an extra special celebration either before or after hibernating. That would definitely work.
